  It's a somewhat long walk up the mount, but it's a great view of the city and it has both historic and natural interest. The castle of La Mota can be visited for free and I repeat, it's quite the view. There's also a free historic museum inside (quite detailed!)

  Wonderful views of the city. Aim to climb up early in the day to avoid the hundreds of tourists at the top

  Beautiful park with many trees and view points. There a lots of different paths that connect the former artillery batteries located on the mountain sides. The walk to the Christ at the top is really worth it for the great views of the Concha beach. There are benches to sit and rest along the way. There's a small English cemetery dating from the early 1800s.
